This project is an immersive experience inspired by Byung-Chul Han’s The Transparency Society. It questions transparency as a positive value, exposing it as a force that flattens differences and dissolves authenticity into a homogeneous mass. In response, it proposes darkness as a space of depth and singularity, where what remains hidden can be more genuine than what is fully exposed.

[Whach the experience]

The experience unfolds in three stages: a gradual introduction to overinformation, a climactic moment of visual and sonic chaos that overwhelms the user, and a final stage where darkness appears as a safe place of refuge, restoring calm.

We use white and yellow contrasted with black and blue to represent the tension between transparency and darkness. The first symbolizes overexposure, while the second reflects the power of individuality within a controlled society. The project incorporates numerous graphic elements and ephemeral photographs, referencing the constant overflow of information and data.
